FOCUS ON LEARNING
This month we will be working on segmenting our words as well as several vowel pairs. We have also started to do Daily Oral Language Practice. This allows the children practice on their grammar skills. Our reading strategies will be on summarizing, predicting and inferring. For comprehension we are still working on the main ideas of the story, details in the story and drawing conclusions. Our writing will be based on informational paragraphs and writing with action words.
Religion: We are reading Bible Stories leading up to the Resurrection Story.
