Sixth Grade

Weekly Lessons

The middle school students are continuing to work hard to improve their Grammar skills daily.  The whole middle school will continue working in writer's notebooks as a way to learn the mechanics of writing and to communicate effectively. The middle school students are taking their final exams in Grammar on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Next week, we will move on to the next unit in our Grammar textbooks and will also write more frequently in our Writer's notebooks.

My name is Sarah Lemke and I am the sixth grade homeroom teacher and middle school grammar teacher. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Concordia University Wisconsin. I began my teaching ministry in Arizona in 2008 and returned to the Milwaukee area in 2010 when I started at CUS as an aide in second grade and part time teacher in third grade. I am excited to be a part of the middle school team at CUS this year!
