Concordia University Schools Parent Council (PC) would like to welcome new and returning parents to our school community. CUS is looking to create a proud history of active parent’s involvement and we want to invite you to join us in making a difference in the quality of school life for our children.
Our PC is active in four (4) important areas: School community, Culture, Recreation/Family and fundraising. The PC plans to publish a monthly newsletter with valuable information concerning CUS. Last but not least, the PC plans to publish a helpful directory which lists the Parent Council calendar, review of school rules and regulations, and contact information for the staff of the CUS community.
We want our Parent Council partnership with the Concordia University School to provide the willingness of parents to get involved in the school & the council. The parent council meetings are the second Tuesday of each month for 5:00 to 6:00pm. Every parent with a child enrolled in the school is an automatic member of the council. Minutes will be recorded from each meeting and made available to it members. If you are new to our School, we hope you will take this opportunity to join the Parent Council. If you are a returning member we look forward to your continued support.
To date CUS PC provided the following to Concordia University and its children. - Field Trips including Transportation - Smart Boards and Television on the classroom - Portable Sound System for the Gym - Cap & Gowns for Graduation to name just a few. You can attend your first meeting on the second Tuesday of the month.
